Non-urgent incidents
If you need police assistance, but it’s not an emergency, you can contact Policelink by:
- reporting the incident online
- phoning 131 444 (24 hours, 7 days).
If you are:

Examples of non-urgent incidents include:
- property damage
- stealing
- break and enters
- stolen vehicles
- lost property.

Compliments and complaints
If you have had a positive experience and wish to compliment or commend an officer, you do this online by using the Queensland Police Service (QPS) feedback form.
If you have had a negative experience with police and would like to submit a complaint, you can also use the QPS feedback form.
If you don't have access to the internet, complaints and compliments can be submitted by:

- at your local police station in person, in writing or by phone.
